01 · Early foundations

Learning through sport.

Football introduced me to discipline, competition, teamwork and responsibility to the people beside me.

1998–2002

Part of a team from the start.

School football at CGS combined training and competition with tournaments in Greece and abroad. It taught me the value of consistency, cooperation and each person’s role within a team.

02 · Competitive development

AEK and the next level.

Higher expectations brought sharper lessons in resilience, consistency and performance. Bigger goals required more work, focus and collective effort.

03 · WHEN FRIENDS BECOME A TEAM

From Nea Makri to a final at Karaiskakis

We reached the final of an Olympiakos supporters tournament involving around 90 teams. As captain of the Nea Makri side, I saw how a group of local friends, without being professional footballers, could reach a final at Karaiskakis Stadium through effort and cohesion.

Receiving the trophy from Olympiakos legend Ilias Rosidis remains a special memory.

04 · MILITARY SERVICE

Away from familiar surroundings.

Military service in Kastellorizo demanded adaptability, discipline and coordination in a remote setting where everyone needed to understand their role and responsibility.

05 · Bank of Greece

What colleagues remember.

Formal references describe your professional contribution. Sometimes a handwritten farewell says more about how you work and connect with people.

At the end of my Bank of Greece internship, the teams I had worked with created this handwritten farewell. In a demanding institutional environment, it remains a meaningful reminder that contribution is also measured by the trust and relationships you build.

06 · COMMUNITY INITIATIVE

Turning a local problem into action

Years of deterioration had made access to local agricultural properties increasingly difficult. I took the initiative to organize the issue into a documented request that could lead to a practical solution.

I contacted affected property owners, explained the process and collected supporting signatures. I documented the case and submitted it to the Municipality of Marathon, then maintained communication with the relevant stakeholders until the road was completed in 2021 through local coordination and private funding.

07 · LIFE TODAY

Away from the noise.

Nature, the sea and sky, and time away from screens help me disconnect and recharge.

Connected to the landOlive growing is one of my favourite hobbies. Caring for and pruning trees planted by earlier generations, alongside those I have planted myself, keeps me close to the land through work I find both enjoyable and restorative.

The rhythm of the harvestOne of the best parts of the harvest is sitting together, talking and separating olives from leaves. The work continues at a different pace—with conversation, company and a sense of calm.
A DIFFERENT WORLD

From nature to digital worlds

I also enjoy gaming on PS5, particularly story-driven games such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Ghost of Tsushima and Cyberpunk 2077, for the way they draw you into different worlds and make you part of a story.
